Use of solar panels to generate electricity will help reduce intake from the public power grid. Supply of more than 2’100 MWh of electricity per year. Reduction of CO₂ emission by some 1’800 tons per year. Second phase with solar panels on roof of new building (2022) will add another 2’500 MWh of electricitiy and reduce CO₂-emissions by another 2’200 tons.

Use of groundwater for air conditioning, ventilation and certain processes. Reduction of electricity consumption by more than 60% or up to 1’900 MWh per year compared to a conventional solution based on chillers.
